Neutral opinion for Overall impression
This site is a good search engine with good features. It is no google, however it is still pretty good. I would use it as a second resort.

Positive opinion for Effectiveness
A super search engine overall. Yahoo, in my opinion, still takes the cake above all other search engines. But, if I had to make a second choice, this is the engine I would pick. It''s layout is simple, but effective and easily navigable.

Neutral opinion for Overall impression
A fair search engine overall, but its directory is top heavy with sites that pay to be listed (which do not make them the best). However, if it''s images that you seek, Alta Vista is pretty good. Until I discovered Google, this is where I went for photos and illustrations.

Negative opinion for Overall impression
Nine times out of ten, I end up going to Google or Yahoo for what I need, although when I need a decent Babel Fish (translator), nothing I''ve yet found beats Altavista. This, however, is it''s only shining point.

Not the best search engine in the world, but it has some good features. I found that it was easy to use, but half the time the translator didn''t work.
