Positive opinion for Price/Quality level
The site is heavily laden with advertising, however the quality of the service that you get for the price you pay is very reasonable.

Negative opinion for Overall impression
I much preferred Hotmail before Microsoft bought it years ago. 2MB isn''t all that sufficient, and you can get 4-6MB accounts for free elsewhere. The thing I dislike most is junk mail ALWAYS makes its way into your account, and it comes in droves. You can find better.

Negative opinion for Overall impression
Of the major free email providers (and, frankly, Yahoo is the only competitor I would call major), Hotmail is the worst. When I used it regularly, it took forever to download, and now they''ve reduced their free services but haven''t come up with anything worth paying for.

Positive opinion for Effectiveness
I use hotmail and have had both good and bad. The main reason I use it is to protect my other address from spam and targeting which happened to me recently. It just means you can use it without receiving any of those internet nasties into your computer.

Neutral opinion for Overall impression
A good email service for being free but I would not pay for it. I found that if you have a MSN email address and you use Hotmail to check it then it can cause some weird errors.
